Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the difference between Semi-Auto and Automatic?
Semi-Automatic (SR/SL) is opened manually (light push) but closes automatically using a mechanical system without electricity. Automatic (Linear) uses sensors and an electric motor to open & close without any physical contact.
Why is the Linear Door suitable for Operating Theaters?
The Uniflow Linear Door is driven by magnets, not belts. Since there is no friction, it generates zero dust particles and is extremely silent. Highly ideal for maintaining sterility in medical and pharmaceutical rooms.
Can Uniflow doors be retrofitted to existing frames?
Yes, the SR (Standard) type is designed as an Outset model that can be installed onto existing walls or door frames (retrofit) without major demolition.
Is this door safe for wheelchairs?
Absolutely safe. All Uniflow Sliding Doors use a Top Suspension system. This means the floor remains flat with no rails or grooves, allowing wheelchairs or hospital stretchers to pass smoothly.
